Plant Sale & Swap In-Person
Rain or shine, in the library parking lot. This is a time for gardeners and other green-thumb enthusiasts to swap their excess plants and divisions, one on one, with other plant lovers. Good divisions of perennials, bulbs, shrubs, herbs, and house plants are welcome. If you do not have any plants to swap, you may purchase one. Free Burpee Seeds will also be available while they last. We have a good selection of seeds, compliments of U.R.I. Master Gardeners. If you aren't able to make this event, the library staff have created a wonderful Seed Library, located on the 2nd floor of the library, where you can get seeds. Gardening is a great family activity. Either start your seeds inside, or wait to plant outside, when the weather permits.
